LOKI-Bag has been designed with one thing in mind – your safety. Storing and charging powerful batteries has become an everyday procedure for many of us but the associated risks are mostly unknown or neglected. Due to the fact that modern batteries have a high energy density they also bear the risk of an unintended release of this energy especially during charging or when exposed to extreme temperatures. This thermal events can easily lead to a large scale fire. The material composition of LOKI-Bag consists of non flammable fabric combined with our innovative cooling material. Therefore enabling you to charge and store your batteries without the risk of fire. LOKI-Bag can withstand the temperatures of thermal events an optionally be equipped with an alerting feature connected to your phone.
One size to fit them all.
The LOKI-Bag design is inspired by dry bags. It’s base size is suitable to fit the most medium sized batteries like from E-bikes and Pedelecs but also home appliances, gardening and power tools. If the size requires it the bag can be rolled up so battery is still tightly packed. The sealing design of the bag allows you to keep your battery connected to the charging cable while being sealed of from the environment. In case of a battery fire it stays inside the bag and will not spread.
Charging the safe way
Usually you charge your batteries while not being present. During nighttime, at work or when you are away from home. Important to know is that charging is the most critical stage for batteries and has the highest chance of thermal events. Combination is Key
LOKI-Bag is not only useful as standalone product. It is intended to be combined with LOKI-Pack for transportation and storage. With the utilization of LOKI-Bag the standard LOKI-Pack version can be upgraded to comply with regulations for defect batteries and recycling. A combination with the safety variant provides an additional safety layer and can be used as positioning and cushioning material.
